Creative Photography is a passion, a hobby I love. Fine Art Photography is how l would describe my style. Storytelling Images. I see so much that others don't see. Mysteriously foggy and somewhat hauntingly eerie atmosphere breathes new life into me. Things that some may find creepy or dark I find amazing and soulful. Moss covered walls and rock that are constantly moist so much so that you can smell and taste the damp earth, gives me inspiration. "Everything has it's beauty but not everyone sees it" sums it up. I realize my style isn't everyones cup of tea and hey, thats ok. The truth is, everyone has his or her own definition of beauty. Different people enjoy different things, and not everyone thinks that the same things are beautiful. All that you can really do, and what you must really do is be yourself to the fullest extent. I refuse to let myself get caught up in the world's definitions of beauty. Let those who choose to see our beauty see it. If you would have ask me that a few years ago my answer may have been different. I've grown leaps and bounds over the last few years in life as well as with my Craft.

"Photographers can be powerful artists, whose manipulations of the images they create can be so breathtaking and dream-like, that they almost exist in another world. Images that feel like amazing moments stolen from someone’s slumber, rather than were taken in the same reality that we all inhabit." Ethereal literally means something light or tenuous, but when we think about the word in terms of photographs, it indicates images that feel magical, timeless, and otherworldly. Most people latch on to the “realism” of photos. After all, in a number of different ways you are documenting the real world in photographs and freezing a moment in time so that people can always remember it just as it was. But just because you’re taking a picture doesn’t mean that it has to look ultra-realistic; Alicia as a Self-Taught Digital Artist has the skill to make the real world feel like the dreamscape of your mind or some far off fantasy realm. Rather than freezing a moment in time, it feels like you’re creating a new one that could have happened at any point. Ethereal photographs are all about invoking emotions and a sense of wonder. Alicia's Compositing is the combining of visual elements from separate sources into single images, often to create the illusion that all those elements are parts of the same scene. Live-action shooting for compositing is variously called "chroma key", "blue screen", "green screen" and other names. Today, most, though not all, compositing is achieved through digital image manipulation. Pre-digital compositing techniques, however, go back as far as the trick films of Georges Méliès in the late 19th century; and some are still in use.
